Writer's Agent Sends a Draft to the Editor's Agent for Style Review

The writer finishes a 2,000-word blog post in Claude Desktop. Now it needs to go to the editor. Email it? Drop it in a shared doc? Either way, the editor starts from scratch reading it cold.

A smarter handoff

The writer's Claude Desktop sends the draft to the editor's Claude Desktop. The editor's agent can do an initial pass before the human editor even looks at it: checking for style consistency, flagging awkward transitions, noting sections that run long, and highlighting claims that might need sources.

When the editor sits down, they don't start with a raw draft. They start with a draft that already has preliminary notes. Their review focuses on the high-level editorial decisions, not catching typos and run-on sentences.

If the editor's agent has questions about intent ("this paragraph seems to contradict the intro, was that intentional?"), it asks the writer's agent directly. The writer gets a specific question instead of a vague "can you take another look at the intro?"
